am looking for a white english actress of exactly average height, which doesn't narrow the field enough for reasonable searchings.
5' 4" tall, in her 30s, and of somewhat ample proportions.
so, basically, who would play me on TV?

anyone I can think of is either way skinny or American or both.
also, searching brings on the feeling old and/or the omg I've done nothing with my life.

plus if whoever it is hasn't been in science fiction, or, usually, Doctor Who, I won't think of them anyway.

Search by personality-related typecast actresses. That is, not by exact height, but by "who could capture the essence".

height is actually part of the plot, because nobody on the planet they're going to is taller than her, and nobody else in their party is as short as her, so she ends up doing undercover work.

I don't know anyone typecast as a fangirl. there probably is someone though.

I like Kate Winslet.
And Christina Hendricks has the appropriate assets.
But they're both too tall, and therefore have a waist.

I don't see many me shaped people, not on TV.


websites are terrible though, they spend the most time speculating on bra size. And, yes, I did just search for that, but it's still :eyeroll:
The site that demonstrated that CH is almost certainly wearing the wrong size bra, and you can see that in some of the more famous pictures because the wire doesn't reach the chest and cuts in to the breast at the size, that was a useful site. It showed large chests wearing a 38DD, which was their size according to Victoria's Secret, and a 32 HH, which was their actual size. The VS size gives the CH cleavage but not the actual functional bra. So one hopes CH has had a bra fitted somewhere better and knows her own sizes. Hopefully.
