beccaelizabethI dreamed that GURPS gives the DR for using gemstones as armour, and I was trying to look it up.
... as it turns out GURPS Low Tech lists Jade of gemstone quality as an armour option. It's semi ablative and only suitable for scale or lamellar armour. But I only looked up the online sample pages to find that out, I don't appear to actually own Low Tech. Must fix that. Along with properly paying for GURPS Spaceships, cause I have Space on paper but not a paid for copy of Spaceships.
If I go buy all the rule books I want I'll run out of shelf room. Is fun though.
Also dreamed there was a cliff with a long inlet sort of thing that led to a man made tunnel that I tried to seal with ice, but a magic dwarf dived down into the earth until it got really hot and brought some of that back, so ice was a non starter. Do not know why I was trying to defend a citadel from magic dwarfs.
The Short Story teacher keeps saying dreams can be story seeds. And yes, they can, but on the whole, given that they use dream logic and tend to be more about hot guys with whips than actual plot, said seeds take rather a lot of nurture to become story shaped.
