My brain is weird
Apr. 28th, 2012 01:58 amSo I've been using the big box computer for games lately. I've even given in and got a subscription for WildCoins, despite the possibility it's easier to get than to cancel, I just wanted to play the game some more. I've got it all set up so thus far it's working, though it's doing weird things with the Windows Update that I should probably take it to a shop about, I don't even know. And I've got my browser set up and I'm all logged in everywhere and I can read my reading lists and friends list and yahoo and all. I can even get my email, though I find I treat the not-webmail version as an archive lately. (And I need to learn how to back up Mozilla stuff. I keep forgetting where it is.) So it's all just like on my laptop, which I have been using almost all the time for at least the last year.
Yet I find, when I log off of this thing for the evening, I want to check my laptop.
Just in case.
... because clearly when that checks my email it's the real emails... *facepalm*
I mean I've been emailing with someone from the con (who isn't as far as I know on LiveJournal, so I can't just go and read their LJ for the past couple of years, and so I have to have, like, social skills if I want to get to know someone). So I keep checking my email. Yet I can't convince my subconscious I don't need to check it on all the computers. Just in case.
... possibly it's convinced one box is connected to an alternate universe.
... bunnies...
