beccaelizabethYesterday someone offered to drive me to Birmingham, if we started at 0500.
And I was planning to sleep until 8, and it would involve 3 hours driving and I usually feel sick after one hours, and then I'd arrive at the hotel at 8 and not be able to check in until 3pm.
So I said no thanks.
In no small part because it takes me longer than that to change plans even if said plan involves what to have for breakfast.
But they said to text at 0430 if I changed my mind.
This morning I realised even if I take the bus and train like usual I'll still be sitting around in public between maybe 8 and maybe 3, and doing that at the hotel wouldn't be so very much difficult.
But that still left the 3 hour drive so I was all no, go back to sleep.
But no, I woke up at about 0415, and I have stayed that way. So now it is before 6am, I'm not getting a free lift to Birmingham, and I'm not asleep.
Lovely.

Think I'm going to try again, having complained to the internet at large. Clearly that will be helpful. And there's still two hours before the alarm goes off.
