Warrior Women of Television
Feb. 5th, 2013 01:07 amToday I finished reading Warrior Women of Television. It was mostly irrelevant, but whenever I started skimming I'd find another bit that was interesting, so I've read it all now and put lots of markers in. I have more vague thoughts about gender in Doctor Who, mostly about how in the terms this book used Doctor Who in the classic era hybridised feminine and masculine types of show, and how the Doctor, being changeable, is apparently feminine. But it was a lot of pages to read for a couple of sentences of vague thought I want to argue with. Probably not the best use of my time.
But it was the thinnest book so it was the one I picked up first.
And now it is one in the morning.
My sleep cycle kind of isn't.
