And I'm done

Thanks you everyone who offered help at all. Lots of helpful. I'm sure I'm going to regret not taking more of it, but people were nice.
I have finished.
Two hard copies of dissertation, printed and bound, including abstract and contents and appendices and references and bibliography, plus one log book, plus CD of all everything ever, plus upload of dissertation.
Handed in to appropriate desk, receipts received.
I am done.
I may have mentioned I had a plan, a back up plan, and a back up to the back up plan? Used them. Today I used 5 printers. Five. And guess how many printers were at some point busted? Yes, that would be five.
I recognised several other people having same printing problem as me. Heavy printer use day.
But, five. The one upstairs in the HE Zone wouldn't admit people had sent anything to be printed, so I kept going up and down stairs to get to the other printers. The black and white one was making a horrible streaky mess of everything, and also wouldn't actually photocopy when I wanted a page from Cite it Right. The color one worked, except when it said Paper Jam. And none of them would let me at my dreamwidth journal, because I'd forgot that the college doesn't trust its students to use 'social networking' sites. Never mind how much academic meta stuff goes on around here, we're filed with facebook and blocked. So I figured, other building doesn't block me, lets go use their printer.
One printer having network problems, other printer having paper jam, no third printer in that building.
Luckily someone unjammed the printer, but then it spat out a bunch of different people's work before mine, including what looked greatly like a dissertation. My employee was helping me with all the going things and she took that stuff to the front desk because it looked a bit important.
Then I handed everything in and I was All Done.
*blinks*
... I am not getting my head around this concept. I decided in 2002 to go back and do education and go get an English with Cultural Studies degree and it took until now to do all the parts. And now I'm done.
I'm also paid, with a receipt. That was quite a large chunk of money. But I had saved up in expectation of said large money, even though I'd thought the grants would cover it, because always there's tripping at the last minute.
but college is paid.
Then we went to UEA and put the books back. Even library fines is paid. *blinks*
UEA has a Waterstones so I went and spent my accumulated loyalty bonus gift cards and now I have Iron Man 3 Prelude. :-)
Also, all the aching.
All.
I been up and down stairs the most times today.
Everywhere has aching.
This is why I usually use the lift, but any individual time up and down stairs made me feel like it would take longer and be a bit silly using the lift, it's just now with all the aches I feel like cumulatively I climbed very tall building today.
I am done with my BA degree, with college, potentially with education if I so wish.
*blinks a lot*
... now I need a new plan.
... that could take a while...
