Dissertation grade

Dissertation mark is finally up on the college website.
... I am still poking it and checking it and being all, "Really? Really really? Proper really really?"
And I put it in my spreadsheet and if I did the spreadsheet accurately I am :-D
... but also weirdly tearful.
Finished!
... I got, for the Dissertation, 65%
Before this last year that would have been my worst grade ever, but considering the limitations imposed by health this year, that's a bit awesome.
:-D
For the Log Book I got 60%, which is better than I was expecting given that I did not in fact have everything in the log book that the instructions say is necessary for log books. The tutor told me I didn't need all them things, but I reckon having them would have been a teensy more helpful to my marks. But 60% is fine.
Because then between them I end up with 64%.
I was aiming for 64%.
... okay, at least 64%, but, see, that's what I got, so that's clearly what I was aiming for.
Oh drat, I said I'd show it to people if it got above 60%.
I'll wait until I get it back with notes on.
If I and my spreadsheet are right though, I end up with 70% for the whole degree.
English with Cultural Studies BA (Hons) 70% => a First.
... exactly and precisely on the grade boundary, but lalala, we shall speak of this year no more.
Also if I want to go do more studying I know which bits of work to show off, because National Cinema got 80% and the Renaissance exam got 79% and the Myth & Med exam got 77%. Those were from widely separated years as well, 08/09 for the exams and 12 for the essay. So if I dig those out it'll look much more like I'm a smart person usually.
... I'm possibly a teensy bothered by the 'lowest ever' aspect of this year. *sigh*
So that was two months between handing things in and finding out how I did.
Two months in which I did a whole lot of absolutely nothing.
My plans for the future are similarly packed.
... possibly I need a new plan?
*looks up MAs at UEA again*
... *remembers how bored I've been for some years now* ...
*sighs*
On the plus side, if I can think of anything I still want to study, I have a good degree to start applying with.
... wow, that's still weird. I have a degree. It is done and I passed and everything.
*woah*
