Today: went to the shops, bought the cleaning supplies and what food was available. Which means one quorn pasty, two cheeslys and a whole lot of breadlikes. It's very frustrating that I can't get useful food even when I do the hard part and go places.
also frustrating is this was the plan for yesterday and also for Sunday so I'm a bit behind. as usual.
I need to try some more fruit juices. I still only have two I like, and only one that I can drink all the time.
On TV right now is Stargate Universe. I'm reminded why I didn't watch after the first two times I tried it. I never stuck around long enough to get to know the characters or plots, though I hear they decided darker was better, which isn't my speed at all. The thing that keeps bouncing me out is they decided in terms of lighting that darker was better. It's all blacks and browns and hardly anything visible. Whose bright idea was that? And then there's the camera work. It's that annoying shaky thing that even news camers aren't any more, but it's juddery stuttery swinging about ANNOYANCE. I keep NOTICING the camera work. Fail, dudes. Wiggly stupid things. And they keep putting people at funny angles or off to one side or awkwardly filming from behind people low down or weirdly high. And what even is that thing where it zooms in jerkily by like an inch? I don't know what effect they're going for, but they only managed it if it was 'utter incompetence'.
... I have opinions. ! !!
It's one of the times it's actually frustrating it has subtitles because they're the only clear thing. Like, when I want to watch, they can't be bothered, and here they are all neatly subbed.
Bored now.
wait, what? grimdark apparently means one guy just killed another guy on angry accident and we watch him get electrocuted.
creeped out and bored.
