I haven't really liked any of the before this Sherlock so it's unsurprising I didn't much like this one.
He's just a smug emotionally manipulative git and we're supposed to like it.
Blah.
But I do like how so many people are bouncy happy about it. The squee is of the good.
Just, as usual, I like what fandom does with these people better than the source text.
