Dreams being the most interesting things that happen lately

First I dreamed that Highlander the series brought out yet another whole complete every season all the extras we really mean it this time set of box sets, this time in a region I can actually play, so I bought them. But when I started watching (having sat down with Adrian Paul, as you do) it turned out there were scenes I didn't remember. They started small, so I was mostly, huh, been a while since I watched these, but eventually there were guys kissing, like Duncan in bed with the Immortal of the week, and I was pretty sure I'd have remembered that. And then when it got to some of the more, ah, broadly drawn K'Immies, the voices were familiar, but they'd been redone cartoon style with supervillain costumes. Which I had mixed feelings about, because it's not like they looked bad in a tight purple cavalier costume with a scarf over their face, but it messed with the whole realism thing Highlander had going on while trying to jump on the comic book superhero bandwagon. Plus some of my favourite actors were getting their faces covered up. So, despite its obvious added sterling qualities, I was not so sure about the new version.

Next sleep was about finding Steve in the ice, a newly defrosted Immortal. A witch took him under her wing and started explaining about holy ground and the rules, what they were stated to be vs what they actually were. And then there was sex. Which is kind of creepy now I'm awake because the dude just woke up having lost everything and she decides sex is the perfect thing? Perfect way to control him, maybe. But I have suspicions about exactly which witch it was. Not from the Marvel side.

Conclusion: Fanfic has done interesting things to my brain.




It is raining, like weather warnings a region away raining, all the rain. I have nowhere I need to be anywhere. And I'm REALLY REALLY BORED.

I should start writing a book just for something to do.
