Fringe season 5

I have watched episodes one and two, and have basically no interest in watching episode three or subsequent.
This isn't the show I started watching. It isn't even the remixed version of season 4. This is a whole entirely different show with different characters, and I am bored of it already.
None of this follows from the emotional arcs or character choices of the central characters, it's just stuff that randomly happens.
Plus the Observer invasion makes absolutely no sense, their purported biological need for carbon monoxide is nonsensical and would just kill all the things that use haemoglobin, and they've gone from apparently knowing everything to being the kind of rubbish everyone can run rings around as they function in ways inferior to the tech of twenty years earlier.
This is stupid.
They'd have to sell me this show from scratch, and they haven't.
I'm bored.
... unfortunately I already own the box set anyway, so hey, I'll probably end up watching.
but it'll be very uphill if it wants me to be interested.
