I win at Cleaner Day
and also at Deliveries
there were substitutions but I remembered I don't like candied fruit peel so the more expensive sort of teacakes are actually less good. also there were lime and mint smelling wipes? I don't think I want my house smelling of mint. So I sent them back. But that's okay because I have spares anyway.

Some stuff is in the wrong cupboard because it's quicker down there than sorting things out, but the cleaner needs the space time to work. She did the bathroom while the delivery arrived.

oh bother, now it is vacuum cleaner time and I still haven't fixed the noise.
I must do that soon. horribly whiny thing now.
hopefully not the sort of noise that maybe goes boom. Probably not. It's just when the hose is at the wrong angle so I think the only thing wrong with it is a small hole where the hose goes in that turns it into a musical instrument.

all done much better *grump*
that's the first of the new year jobs, that is.
everything is asleep between holidays but next week things will start again.




I'm sure there's no pressing need for much of the internet to read about my domestic minutiae, but I console myself with the knowledge that future historians will surely find it fascinating.

Now it is apples day because the floor will smell of apples and I have apple things to eat.
