The Winter Long

beccaelizabethAfter re-reading all the October Daye books in row, I am reading The Winter Long by Seanan McGuire.
I should probably have been doing other things, but I started it this morning in the half hour before the alarm went, and haven't wanted to leave it for long since.
I got about half way through, and just got a face like :-D and want to go up to Seanan and do a bouncy circles dance of glee, because she got us so good. Completely fairly by telling true things where we can see them, she snuck something huge in and I didn't have a clue until she handed it to us. Sneaky author dance of glee I tell you.
I wanted to stop and tell the internet of this awesome, but then again I didn't want to stop. So I'm about 3/4 through at the moment. I paused to let food be delivered and eat it, but now I can't think of anything more urgent or interesting than seeing how this book ends.

aaaand then I forgot to actually post this, so now I have finished the book and I'm still :-)
it had a proper ending with winning and stuff.
... I think the best bit was right in the middle though.
