Today while double checking my numbers for my decorating project I kept finding things that have stopped existing, or at least gone out of stock. It's quite frustrating. I feel like things shouldn't be gone away forever any more, like they should be able to print up anything I want out of the back catalogue. Probably the tech isn't quite there yet. And the economies of scale would go once it weren't in the shops no more. But if I want my particular blue bath mat with the pattern on, and someone has designed the very thing, then changing seasons shouldn't make it go away again.

Also the rainbow stars shower curtain went away. I am sulk about that.

The new bathroom will have none windows, just like the current bathroom, so I'm not sure how things will look. At the moment the plan involves throwing colours and patterns at it until it looks nicer. But that could pretty easily be too much colours and patterns.

Mum says I focus too much on the fiddly things. This is because I actually can the small things. Big stuff like whether or not the housing association is going to do the repairs I can't influence at all. I have opinions and a whole long list of questions, but nothing I can do can make there be enough money, and since I'm not the boss of them I can only enquire very politely about any of it. But I can choose light shades like anything.

I have also done my half on the larger plans, to the best of my ability. I wouldn't reject a place because of colours or fixable things. I just like thinking about the colours when I can.

It is evening and I think I'm going back to bed.
