why are people who like recliners for under £300 assumed to only want them in black?

it is quite frustrating. I cannot find the appropriate chair, only things that are nearly and almost.

Could you get the chair in the right size and shape, and cover it with a sheet or bedspread or something in the color you want? That'd also give it a washable cover.

I have tried that with the recliners I have, and yet, still inky scribbles get on them. The reclining action means the sheets don't stay on. Crafting it so it's an actual cover is beyond my abilities, and also fiddly, because recliner.

Is a good idea, and I might end up doing that, it's just frustrating when the thing I actually wanted existed a very little while ago.
