beccaelizabethToday's plan was to go to Argos and buy a £20 TV shelf thing to go under my TV and put my recorder box and multi region dvd player in.
Then mum arrived and asked questions like 'how heavy' and I checked how large it is and it says how much the maximum weight on it should be and now it is too heavy to bring back in my trolley even though it is only two shelves, and the £20 one was too wide by half, and I don't know if I should put it on the table top anyway and mum thought it should go on the floor but then where do my feet go? Kicking stuff under the desk when I use the computer, not awesome.
So I didn't buy that.
But I also took down the pinboard so I could knock the wall to show why I don't put the TV on the wall (*hollow thunk sound*) and the things for holding up the pinboard fell off.
I don't know where the tiny nails went, there's a non zero chance they went in the TV, but it's a very low probability and the TV still works and very probably I will not die of electrical fire?
So then we went to Argos to buy a replacement pinboard.
So that was fun.
Now I get the fun of putting the new pinboard up at the other end of the room and maybe rearranging what things are pinned on it. But first I have to figure out how to put it up.
Today: not quite what I planned.
This is why to-do lists never get any shorter.
