but my recording cut out just before the end, when the demon appeared in the sky right after Allanon said how much he loved Pyria.
Did they just invent someone just to fridge her?
Because saving the whole world isn't motivating enough?
I don't know, I've set it to record one of the repeats tonight, but with it ending right there it looked likely.
Abrupt ending aside, I liked the episode. Looked good, did a lot of setting stuff up.
Also: *SUBTITLES*!
I don't know what was wrong with last week but the words are back this week :-)
There are way too many ad breaks though. And I'm not sure they're all in the right places?
Modern TV is so frustrating.
I'm not keen on yet another fantasy world with baked in inequality and gendered violence (yes I know the source text is a bit old, it's still annoying). Plus random naked women is *facepalm*.
But no more so than expected.
So.
