Mar. 25th, 2016 06:06 pmI keep seeing pictures of shelves on like tumblr and I just think
your shelf? has? gaps?
how does your shelf has gaps?
Is it not the natural state of shelves to be ) shaped under a quantity of books that suggests death by bookalanche is a near inevitability?
My attempts to weed my shelves would go better if stopping at the online bookshop to get one new book didn't inevitably turn into half a doze.
On teh plus side, I've read two new Seanan McGuire books in two days, and there's still one more to go.
:-)
In other news I have no other news due to the continuing not leaving the house because of ongoing lack of support. Three years of that and things get very boring indeed.
I feel like I'm forgetting how to human.
But then I don't bother telling the internet about it because there's only so many ways to say the same thing.
Actually book reviews keep giving me that same feeling. Most of them are 'needs more women'. Luckily Seanan books always deliver amply on diversity, as well as plot and memorable phrasing.
