beccaelizabethToday's dream involved the Rebel Alliance starting to use sign language, so the Empire decided to arrest anyone using sign language. Bit of a problem.
Also Luke Skywalker was escaping from an Empire sweep by catching a bus. The 5 bus to be precise. He got given exact change by a small child, who grinned in a way he did not know how to interpret. The 5 bus turned out to go out to the nature reserve, where there were trees that try and grab you, as well as more animal looking species. It also stopped the bus, stopped the engine, gave him a survival pack, and kicked him out. Next to the prison complex. Because that way he can skip the Empire middleman, but they're certainly not going to have him wandering around alone.
So I followed him, but the automated sorting at the prison sent him to the men's wing and tried to send me to the ladies. I objected, which led to me being sorted into a group of about half a dozen of us, including AU David Bowie. Who I ended up dating.
Not a bad dream as these things go.
There was also a bit with three sisters who all got sorted into this same queer category, and the older two were very surprised about the youngest. She was a famous actress and they thought she was, like, actually feminine. But she said no, it just meant she had to be femme for her job, which had meant being really miserable for decades for her job. But it was also a job with a bit of an age limit, so now the jobs had fallen off precipitately anyway, she'd got top surgery and was much happier with it. So yaay, but it made me think. It's rough enough only having social pressure to stay in your lane, it has to be worse if your actual job involves people deciding your look and exaggerating your features and getting it all on camera from all the angles so everyone can stare at it. And you'd think maybe people would then avoid it, but I know a bunch of actors are super shy when they're being themselves and are very much interested in spending as much time as possible not being themselves, so, *shrugs*.
Earlier bits of dream involved Ethan Rayne but also involved Warhammer style chaos demons, who just make all everything gross, given half the chance. Also my dreams are way too good at imagine. I mean, if the demons are originally little lead figures covered in red paint, that's not gross. But if they start moving around and turn out to be tiny detailed anatomically correct figures that just don't have the not-red outer layer, well, super gross. Also the way they were moving. Too many legs. Blergh. But the blood and killing things demons aren't the worst. Slaaneshi are the worst. Perfectly good dreams, then demons. Ugh.
Later bits of dream involved Deadpool having pet snakes. Giant pet snakes. That pretended to be caves sometimes. They'd just hang out swallowing people and he'd make some funny comment about it but they weren't particularly memorable due to the arrgh arrgh giant snake moment the rest of us were having.
It's no wonder I wake up tired, is it?
