Progress so far

1) swap the aerial cable for a slightly longer aerial cable, thus fixing the awkward bit in the corner that has been that way for over a decade
2) remove the scart cable that no longer leads anywhere
3) try not to knock anything down
4) knock many things down
5) pick everything up, dust it, wiggle things until they're all plugged back in again
6) turn it all back on
7) test post


thus far, xfingers, things appear to be working again
but that was *facepalm*
