James Blish
Aug. 8th, 2016 09:17 pmI started trying to read some Blish: A case of conscience / Doctor Mirabilis / Black Easter and The Day After Judgement
actually I didn't so much as skim that last, I read the back and just noped.
Mirabilis does things with English which I really can't be bothered with, so I only got 35 pages in, and whatever the point was meant to be I don't think I care enough to read uphill like that.
Conscience I skimmed, read the end, read the original end, still think it's entirely too Catholic to spend much time on.
But I don't know, hugo award, sounds like it ought to be interesting
and you'd think I'd be interested in religion-meets-SF.
But right now they're on the To Go pile after I deleted them from my LibraryThing, and likely to stay there unless someone says they're secretly awesome.
