my helpful person said it didn't seem like my kind of film, but I said it goes with all the princess-dress movies
because he's like the handsome prince of his world, and she wins him, and he learns her world too, and there's a happily ever after (or at least a promising start). And also a pretty shiny dress.
its like Cinderella without her shoe falling off. and with dancing being the point.
and the dances all tell the story, and I like the music, and I just love the film.
even without vampires or anything. I like a layer of metaphor between me and the world, but I guess that dance stuff is far enough away from my regular world to serve.
