and once again just me, my driver, and Andrew
so if anyone sees this and is in Norwich you would be welcome!
I had not read or watched or listened much, and we had only small overlap of things seen, so conversation filled the first hour, but then Munchkin.
I won :-)
... on accident, because first they killed my character with a humongous dragon, and that meant they got to loot the body and get all my stuff and I got to draw new cards and start again, but I got good ones, including Go Up A Level, and then they tried to make the next monster so big I lose again, but I was a warrior so I beat it, and with the cards I played I got two levels at once. So I won.
But mostly it was the random Go Up A Level cards I kept getting.
Munchkin is fun though.
I even liked the bit where I played some cards and walked right into a trap and was all "I did not think that through."
I might get some of the expansion packs, because there's more dragons and princesses and knights and stuff.
But I also might want to bring a different game, or in fact enough stuff to talk on topic all night, because it is a science fiction night, not a munchkin night, and he did mention maybe bringing a different game another time.
It's tricky when there's just the two of us. We can choose a topic to research in advance but we probably already know what each other think.
Maybe if we had topics we would get specifically interested people?
I could try and think of some.
But is nice going anyway.
That is a very long Wednesday and I rather hope I sleep.
