beccaelizabeth7 and Ace and Mel after she's been travelling with Glitz.
This one was pretty okay. The Doctor didn't spend much of it very active, but I liked all the complications the others brought to it. Ace and Mel compare and contrasting, and all the wondering how much Mel has changed.
I also liked the bad guys. Bankers who literally liquidate, and eat all possible futures until the ones that owe them have no possibilities left, that's a good one.
I wasn't entirely keen on the ending, because being clever with time travel physics isn't actually my favourite thing. Doesn't seem to translate well as metaphor or possible solutions. Just made up rule does a thing.
But it was a pretty good adventure that answered a question I actually had, what happened next for Mel, and how that guy would work out.
Also I liked the moment where someone's objection to a plan was 'I dont carry pounds of high explosive around' and you can just imagine Ace's grin. Ace blowing things up is never supposed to solve everything, and generally leads to more trouble, but it is very fun.
More Ace adventures will be win.
