I retain my opinion that Zombie is the most broken spell in the game. (Restricted list, definitely.) Most GMs I've met add a limitation: can only control a number of zombies equal to your Int stat. Otherwise, you start with one zombie by visiting any battlefield and have them help you make more. Tell them all to go wait at the bottom of a lake until you need them. Sure, most of them will be skeletons by that time, but your enemies aren't going to want to face the skeleton army rising out of the lake.
