beccaelizabethToday I dreamed I had a super shiny tech company worth many millions, and so a lot of other companies owners thought I needed to get married. So there was like a contract with formal proposals delivered, and a bunch of very rich successful men and women were competing for my hand.
But somehow that involved me being kidnapped for a makeover where they took my glasses, so I got to explain to them all via lawyer that (a) kidnapping is pretty illegal and not in fact sexy and (b) all the effort they went to was useless even if I overlooked that, because glasses. Like dudes washing my feet to be humble was apparently a thing, but things happening that far away from my eyes were pretty much a mystery.
In real life I can see my toes from up here but am fairly vague about anything smaller or lower contrast. In the dream I was just like, yes that appears to be a white person. I wasn't even sure there were different people. So that wasn't working for them.
Also, what the heck is the point of no glasses makeover, if anyone is going to see you shabby and wearing your clunkiest glasses it's your spouse.
So dream me was vastly unimpressed.
But dream me was also drafting a letter to turn down a knighthood because there's no gender neutral version, so I don't know what it would take to impress them.
