because today already had too many days in it
but they just mean the fur thing.
probably.
I kept getting woke up whenever I tried to go to bed, for things that filled a couple hours, and then the sleeping ended up filling the day, and then I had wasted my nice salad because it is too long after opening, and my eating isn't cooperating anyway.
sulk.
but the electrician fixed my ceiling light, at least so far, and the thing where I decided it was time to wake up and phone the police turned out to be no thing, which leaves me feeling stupid but nobody set the building on fire no matter what they were yelling so, you know, basically a win.
But I watched the BBC Big Cats thing while waiting to see if smoke alarms would happen, and that was nice. There's a guy who has spent twelve years looking for a particular sort of cat and now has two (2) videos and like 60 photos. This has relevance both to cryptozoology (nobody doubts it exists but that's still not a lot of proof) and to feelings of futility in one's own endeavours (twelve years, two videos, and he thinks he's doing really great).
Everyone in that episode's work is like pointing out ways we are making there be no cats any more, like swapping their habitat for palm oil. Except the servals guy, who has an exciting industrial area full of surprising numbers of serval, because it turns out once they put fences up for industry nothing that eats servals could get in. Tigers lady gets very upset often, there are appallingly few tigers. And leopard guy's work is trying to explain how not to get ate by a leopard, because the city is in all the leopard places now and you can't teach leopards not to eat.
Other people's problems are very different than my own and I admire their persistence.
I look forwards to it being tomorrow when I can have another go at a reasonable day.
