I see all these posts going around about how everyone should comment on everything, kudos is not enough, come on its not that hard
and
actual facts, sometimes it is that hard.

I do a communicate, I spend literally two hours going over it in my head looking for flaws and errors. not every communicate, but many. I didnt get to sleep until after three yesterday because a communicate became necessary around midnight.

low stakes communicate is slightly easier, but, these posts meant to guilt you into taking personal responsibility for the demise of fandom, they are really trying to up the stakes.

kudos are good. kudos are great. there is no way to miscommunicate with a kudos, it means a kudos, every time.

And I'm super happy whenever I get a kudos, because that is one unique person who liked the story.

Simples.

also kudos are great, but fandom demise isn't because of kudos system, it is because 1 kids write *for* kudos and 2 get a fuckin' beta i know it's not high art but fer fuck's sake have some pride in your work jfc

I try to communicate (as much as possible) only with people who will not take to heart if words aren't very good, and will give second and even third chance to explain self. otherwise it's very hard sometimes to get idea across.
