that was marked / and I got to the chapter before last thinking I would be complaining it should have been &
but in the last chapter they kissed
and it made me wrinkle my nose up like ugh
because they just spent all those K of words setting one up to be legally a child and legally a ward of the person that just kissed them, as well as financially and legally dependent on them, AND a magic soulbond thing was distorting their thoughts and they spent 250K deciding not to worry about it and just
their daydreams are very much unlike my own.
like they seem to have spent all that buildup to get to 'you could command me but you wouldn't, I feel safe with you'
which is nice
but like every other bit of getting there is just...
well, it was a lot of words to have the conclusion be not to my taste, is all.
I should find another recs list
and see if it suits better.
