I sat down to watch an episode or two of Dark Matter before bed
and then there's suicides.

It's really annoying how TV doesn't come with trigger warnings.

I know they're usually violent but that's particularly unpleasant.

Also there were eldritch abominations from beyond, which seems a bit much to throw in when I know how many episodes are left before they got cancelled.

*sigh*



I like the Android and how she could choose to act more human but doesn't.
Also being told not to say it and then just walking off repeating 'boobs'
is funny, in a particularly autistic way.

I like this Android better than Data, which is quite a lot.

... I dislike that most of the autistic coded characters on TV are robots...




I should do more writing.
... any writing.
Pretty much everything I watch makes me want to get my teeth in and make something meatier instead, so I should do more writing.

Entries on IMDB have a section called "Parents Guide" which will give you warnings of sex, violence, profanity and most other things that might trigger you.

but I looked up Dark Matter and that section doesn't seem to have anything in it
so I guess it's a bit variable if anyone filled it in
