Martha Wells: All Systems Red
Jun. 21st, 2018 11:48 amMurderbot is Relatable.
Just wants to sit and watch TV.
"Granted, I liked the imaginary people on the entertainment feed way more than I liked real ones, but you can't have one without the other."
So there's this great little adventure seen through the point of view of someone who epically does not want to be there, and just
mood
biggest mood
forever mood.
I am giving this 4.5 starts on LibraryThing, and the .5 is because it is only short.

Yeah, I have re-read several times. Murderbot is right up there with Addison's Goblin Emperor, one of Ilona Andrews series, and Ursula Vernon/T. Kingsolver's books as "I can read this and feel better no matter how awful life is" list!

Date: 2018-06-21 02:41 pm (UTC)And it is too short--but the second one is out, and the third and fourth in production. I think Wells is doing what Bujold is with the Penric novellas--a serial novel of sorts!
But faster--the third and fourth will be out later in 2018!
