beccaelizabethThe annoying thing about trying to avoid Amazon is figuring out where all *is* Amazon these days.
Like I'm pretty sure I switched to Book Depository to get away from them but Book Depository was acquired by Amazon in 2011, and I can't remember if I heard that and forgot it, or didn't hear it, or what.
So now I'm wondering if there are books, anywhere, that are not Amazon, and yet will sell me the things. Not, like, urgently wondering, just, you have to actually check now if somewhere is Amazon making faces at you, or Amazon in a trenchcoat, or just... it's really annoying.
also we're going to end up with a monopoly and a dead publishing industry
but hey, capitalism.
