The 90s are a flashback now

I realise this is an ordinary function of the inevitable and linear nature of time
but
as of last night I have to deal with the fact that
"Oh I like the Prodigy, I liked them since I was a little kid"
is a perfectly sensible statement for a legal adult to make.

... my Wednesday employee has been alive a slightly shorter time than I have been living in this flat.
... I keep getting these sudden attacks of Perspective and I dislike it greatly.
... I feel like I owe an apology to, like, everyone I must have made feel like this, ever, except mostly the pay back is it's my turn now.

I guess the next level of weird perspective shift is when the people who make you feel old are in turn made to feel old.
