beccaelizabethI have been reading more of this season's Doctor Who meta
and it is making me go over episodes in my head looking for the good bits
but not to praise them.
I'm actually getting that particular kind of grumbly that wants to do a season rewrite.
Just take the sets and basic plots, but give everyone a moral core and a character arc, and the season a bit more zip somehow.
I often grumble about DW, especially down the pub, but the niggly grumbles aren't going away so much.
Although if I really pull apart the details I might end up appreciating it more.
That's always fun.
I just... want the Doctor to represent hope for change. Big glorious changes that she brings the lever for.
... maybe I'll go watch Seven...
