Someone needs to tell Chibnall that inclusion-as-corpses is not inclusion, and is not on.

This seems like Doctor Who written by someone who doesn't actually want to be writing Doctor Who.

... I wrote a long complain, but honestly, people watching just to complain at great length is no fun at all, and the internet doesn't need to know how I think I could do better. Go forth and enjoy if you like it.

I still like the Doctor.

But I'm going back to Big Finish.

This episode looks like the Dalek-out-of-it's-shell script that was written for Torchwood that got axed, rewritten for Doctor Who. Nice to see they finally found a place for it.

Torchwood is so tonally different though.

There was a rewrite, but the bones are still Torchwood. Just tacked on a happy ending.

Well I'll be spending 2019 watching Classic Who...

Mostly yes, am also cross that the second a gay character appeared they got killed. The rest was fine, but HOW do they not know this is bad. It's literally a trend. >:(

*nods* Unless people sit down and count they don't tend to notice when it's not them. They just go hmm, let's do some inclusion among minor characters, oh look this one isn't doing anything else, let's make them interesting... *sigh*

I've watched all of Seven and all of Six and now onto Five. :)

And I just hope someone takes Chibnall aside and explains it to him. Like how someone pointed out to Moffat that there were no gays in S5, and he realised he'd screwed up and went onto fixing it properly. But it's weird because Chibnall did lots of Torchwood and that had ALL TEH GAY.
