River and the Doctor

Half way through and River is travelling with 5
and I am ❤ because they are ❤❤
Makes me happy.
Am increasingly sympathetic to the Doctor though. It's the memory thing, where River knows when they meet and that he doesn't know her then. So she keeps having to reset his memory, or the plot does. Which one might reasonably find somewhat unfair on all parties. Even if it is fun watching them fall in love over and over again.
But at this rate the only time the Doctor keeps his memory of her would be if she died, because otherwise, reset.
Poor dears.
But River just saved the Doctor with the power of her love, like literally, there was a psychic thing, and now the Doctor is understandably puzzled, having just met her, and the potential for somewhat tragic hilarity is great.
It's so fun watching all the ways she does and doesn't fit with all of him. And trying to figure from context when in her life she is. Lots of character work.
I'll have more to say about the plots later, but I very like the relationships, messy and timey wimey and fun.
