Sims 4 some more: Strangeville
Jun. 3rd, 2019 07:58 pmToday I saved Strangeville from the tyranny of the alien invaders
and then felt a bit bad about it, because whilst one of my characters had been on a military track and obviously would charge in as soon as possible, another liked food and plants and talking to people and upon meeting the alien had stayed there all day talking and made friends.
There are many benefits to being their friend.
But the alien can be revived at any time 'so other families can play', except I think only one of my family got the aspiration because the other two were at home when they tried it.
You can recruit a maximum of three people to help. And its a right pain getting three people to stay together long enough to do the fancy boss fight bit. They wander off and get coffee upstairs if you don't keep an eye on them.
There's some things about playing the whole family with the same aspiration that worked easier - you can pass the evidence around and it all counts, you can pass the keycard along and as long as they're the one who opens the doors today tada, aspiration fulfilled.
But other things are just annoying, because they have to take turns, they can't do their aspirations all on the same day.
Also it has been a bit buggy, I think. The notifications weren't working right today, only some showing up, and the fellow scientists didn't exist the other day. Don't know if anything else didn't work right, wasn't trying to do much.
Sims is more fun when it works.
Actually the weird thing is I'm never sure if Sims is fun, I just play it all day anyway.
So as well as the game stuff I did two whole loads of laundry, washed and dried and mostly put away. But I didn't really notice because I was playing Sims.
... it's not very interesting, most of the time, but it is very involving. You have to spend so many clicks just getting your characters basic needs met, sleeping, eating, cleaning the aliens tendrils out of the loos so you can use them (though I gave up and bought a bush). They even refuse to do what you say if you don't let them play enough video games. Is ridiculous.
... and yet, here I am, playing all day...
So, sorry if I didn't see your messages or important real life stuff, alien plants ate my brain
:eyeroll:
Tomorrow I must think of something actually helpful to do...
