City Centre Games Night

beccaelizabethThere was no dancing tonight so we went to City Centre Games night, which has moved venues and nights.
We got lost. On the way there. Round and round. Went in a car park by accident. Did not want that car park. Tried parking elsewhere so we could search on feet but Expensive. Found venue! ... almost by accident. But found! And there was parking there but only a very little so if a next time maybe a new plan.
New venue had several tables in an upstairs room.
... I dislike the stairs. Too many stairs. Very steep.
There was a stairlift and it was actually tempting.
But the games night was good. I arrived quite a long time after it started but two other games wrapped up as I was getting Pandemic set up, so then the organiser helped get some players over and played a couple games. We did not win Pandemic but it was fun playing. I did not win Carcassonne but I had not played it before and I did not really know how to score. but it seems fun for a compete game. I like cooperate more. But it is good finding places for the tiles and I can see why expansion packs would be fun too.
Then on the way home a road was closed and I chose an alternate route on the google but I'm not sure I chose well. We saw many small roads and went far out of our way. I don't know though, I just checked the google maps and we would have had to turn around and go back in to get out any alternate way so I guess I did okay. But we were not technically lost because the maps knew where we were. Still took a bit extra time and miles though.
So today ended a bit later than planned
but driver says that was okay, so, okay.
I like that I went and could mention why I don't go any more (schedule clashes).
But I do need a new alternative for second wednesdays because it is not moving back.
