Lost In Space

I watched the first episode of the Netflix Lost In Space.
That was some well set up science fiction adventure with the ice and all
but that was way too stressful.
Children in danger! Small! Very stressful!
And there were kids in two places that needed him and he had to choose! Nightmare!
And the doing emergency surgery on their mum was pretty tense too but it doesn't tie my insides in knots when it's adults in danger.
It worked out okay at the end but I realised I don't know anything about what parameters to expect from this so it was Super Tense.
I'm considering reading the plots for the other ones before thinking about watching them.
Yes I realise my stress tolerance is not awesome.
I'm thinking of going back to cartoons.
But it seemed well made, they set up characters and action and mystery and all sorts of neat stuff.
I just... do not perceive danger to children as adventure. At all.
oh well.
