Ugh, nap nightmare

beccaelizabethNot a wake up argh nightmare but a wake up like I was just running nightmare.
... mid day naps are not optimal.
I dreamt someone was chained up in such a way they could get their head out of the water, just, by doing situps, but it tightened the chains so they could only just breathe anyway. And their abs were doing all the work. So then they had to lie down again underwater, until they needed to breathe, when they could still only just...
... and the person who chained them that way sent me on a dumb fetch quest, and reckoned if I could find the thing before the tide came in he'd let us go. But thing there was not, it was all just a way of making me choose between staying and helping and going and theoretically helping. So I was running cause the bad guy had like a crew and outnumbered we had to do what he said, but it wasn't working, and ugh, bad, nope, wrong.
And then I woke up and decided what we'd have to do instead, and kind of wanted to dive back in and go get him, except sleep is not a country in that sense, and either way I would be fixing it in my head.
(solution: if we need to be several places at once, clearly we need more people. this is a self sealing stem bolts of a fetch quest, except the favour we need from each person is to find new people, to keep looking and to come help. that way when the pirate captain gets back he's going to be really damn surprised by how many people he's pissed off. and raising help is a bard problem, so I have got this covered.)
(persuading the rather frantic mood I woke up in of this has taken longer than thinking of it)

The other problem is if I sit in the warm to listen an audio and don't do something else at the same time I end up falling asleep. The audios aren't bad, I think, it's just a thing. So I'll think of something else to do for a bit and be awake.
