Hero forge
Dec. 9th, 2019 12:18 amToday I remembered heroforge.com
and have been playing with designing adventurer figures
rather than
you know
literally anything else
actually helpful.
... they are very cool.
If you go there, use your best computer and make sure you don't cook your legs.
My computer gets toasty.
I like lots about them
but I am unconvinced by the bust on female models in the vast majority of tops
and search keywords to attempt to find clothes meant for bustier models are...
... well I didn't have as much luck looking for woman, lady, or girl, as I did with
wench.
*sigh*
It's difficult to make them look anything approaching fat
and all the sliders break things in square ways when you push them all the way along.
I can see now why little figures usually go so extra on the bust
it disappears really easy among all the other details.
But there's a Warrior Princess outfit that is really pretty
though if you add the shoulder pieces you might want to play in the Advanced pose settings to get them to stop flying.
I don't know if I want to buy their little models
but they look so cool.
And I went looking for models from other places yesterday and a cursory check found so many *sighs* I went back to the custom place.
So that was my day.
If I'm going to play with 3d art I should do properly, but I have met me, I'll be on to something else in a day or so. I never got around to using some of the software I bought years ago. Fiddly websites will do grand.
