beccaelizabethI dreamt I was a superhero at a convention, but doctor's 5, 6 & 7 were there so it was probably not a superhero convention.
But there were a ton of cosplayers.
And then one of them turned around and did the evil laugh you have all fallen into my trap thing
and started attacking the audience.
So I carefully approached the guy, started talking with him, made sure to be sure this wasn't kayfabe for the ruler of the universe contest or something.
And then I explained to him:
there's a reason none of us start this at these things.
You never know who you're going to get, under the mask.
I am not using my powers yet. I'm wearing red and a mask, but it's not my red or my mask. Which is pretty obvious unless Flash has changed shape a whole lot.
So I start with the examples and try and talk him down. I've seen comic cons where someone had a power ring. And not just a green one.
(no I don't have a red ring. aren't you glad?)
But the guy is not interested in being talked to, and is throwing rocks around. I'd call it geokinesis but he also called the rocks into being. Imagine, power like that, and ambition that only stretches to attacking comic con?
So I beat him, of course.
And then when security were leading him away, somone in a Reverse Flash suit, but too portly for it to be the Reverse, just ran by and tripped the guy at the top of the stairs.
... crunchy.
So after that there was a whole trying to find a room to have a meeting and all the pens leak sequence, not a classic.
But then people arrived to use the room so we left, and I packed up and ended up with like half a dozen bags, backpacks and shoulder bags and all sorts, packed with everything from notes to food
and when I took the lift
it was the 4 lift.
(4 is not a good number)
It started going down a perfectly ordinary business floor
then a school
a hospital
a prison on three, full of humans all packed in
and on 2 a prison for fae.
The lift left the second floor, almost at the ground (i guess this lift was american)
but it got jammed between levels
and once it was stuck
fae prisoners levered the doors apart
and pulled me out.
They weren't all fae originally. I knew some of them. Not-Ray-Palmer was always too annoyed to tell me what his actual name was, but the resemblance was striking, even if the mustache was unfortunate. He wore something around his neck that made it clear which one he was, a symbol of his own, but it weren't always visible from all angles so I usually managed to annoy him first.
This time he was sort of stumped because I started giving my stuff away before anyone could demand it.
Well a lot of it I couldn't actually eat, and other bits, if someone technical could get the lift working, they needed more than I.
But I kept a bottle of water, and a cup I had in my pocket.
Not eating any food provided here was vital to the prison break plan.
But so was that cup.
Because dream me turned out to be Leonard Snart, and thanks to A Len in the Lake by nirejseki, he had the grail in his pocket, and many things become possible for them as can use it.
... something something it isn't baptism it's just a cup grumble?
... it was key to the plot that eating or drinking something I'd brought from Earth would let people out, just like eating in that place would trap them, or me.
But the lift was not in that place, so I guess I'd have to sit in it to eat.
It was an interesting setup for a dream.
... I slept in parts and pieces today. There was a whole stretch of day when I would have sworn I didn't sleep a wink, but then I tried to put the light on and it didnt work, so I tried to use the torch and it didnt work, so I realised I was sleeping already.
And then the dreams got a lot more interesting.

Okays, off to awake world for a while.
