The wanting to punch people feeling did not go away. Every adult is behaving extremely poorly. And the ending was maximum sad.
It was just so creeptastic how A reacted to R. And then he got worse.
On balance I do not think watching that improved my day. The only bit of this verse I like is the daemons. And even then you're left with asking are the awful people actually two awful people or one in two forms.
It is neat how they made it feel creepy when animals don't talk.
And the animals look very.
But the story is trying to make me angry and succeeds.
Also I have been reading Pathfinder stuff some more. I ordered more books even. Found there is regular fiction as well as more rules all the time.
I like the world as a climbing frame for the imagination and a source of maximum genres and maximum conflict, but it do mean I am left wanting to make systemic changes to basically everywhere. Get some more Star Trek up on here. Maybe make even one corner of the map understand that a place isn't wilderness just because your race doesn't live there and other races are jot brutal and savage just because they object to their neighbours. Everywhere on this map has been colonised repeatedly and it is so much mess.
If what I'm meant to do is go merrily killing things and taking their stuff I am less happy with it. Many of these 'things' seem to be basically minding their own business.
But then there are beings trying to bring about the end of the world, or the whole set of undead who have decided everyone should join them, or the actual literal devils, so there's a lot going on there.
Bursting with story.
Lots of bits seem to only be in pdf now because I am very behind.
Also there's a new edition, just when I start collecting things from the already edition.
If I was better at the rules part I would probably be more frustrate about that, but since I don't much know what the numbers do, it's all lore to me.
So is fun.
For a certain value of fun that makes me want to actually play but also hide and not speak to humans.
