beccaelizabethI tried that 'which Giles is for you' test, but didn't like any of the answers.
Then I was all 'doh!'
I like *Giles*. All of him. He'd be less fun without any of his parts or pieces. I like tweedy bookish crossfiling smelly knowledge Giles, and 'I'd like to test that theory' magic sorcerer Giles, and Giles who can cook, and Giles who charges in with a flaming baseball bat, and all Giles all the time. Except for the tendency to make plans where he doesn't survive. Plans should involve surviving. Because then there's more Giles.
Ethan doesn't seem to like tweedy Giles. This is a problem. But it might be that tweedy Giles ate all the other Giles for a while, and Ethan could be happy as long as it wasn't all tweedy all the time. Or then again, it might be angsty doomed sex because really he only likes the violence and the magic. But that would be less fun. Its more work to get Ethan, Chaos worshipper, somehow settling down with a guy who finds cross-referencing a relaxing passtime.
