Today I dreamed

I was in a car on the way to a Doctor Who convention (*sigh*)
with the 8th Doctor

we were in the back seat together
playing spot the TARDIS

because it had become quite the fashion
to have a blue shelter in the garden
to take tea in.


When we got to the convention
there was a place where you could play chess
against the Doctor
(all of them)
and every game resolved with all the pawns becoming queens
and teaming up.


I met River Song in the queue.
She was wearing denim, and a disguise, big sunglasses and a beard
because she can't meet 8 yet, obviously
so her cunning plan was
look like every other cosplayer.


after that the dream rather dissolved into trying to get dressed
before the queue got to the door
failing
and being let in anyway
because honestly, someone with only one leg in their trousers is not the weirdest thing today.

Also the bit where they cant find my name on the reg list
(as almost always happens in dreams)
was resolved before I got there by someone just writing it on the end.



All in all a very pleasant visit.
