I have a new favourite plant 🍁
... actually lavenders are probably still favorite, or rainbow roses.
I have a new joint favourite type of plant:

Heuchera

They happen in wondrous variety, and the many colors are leaves. Even the green ones are ridiculous extra greens, but they also have silvers and purples and oranges and pinks and all sorts. They are very surprising and zoom past alien garden into fairytale cartoon. But you can buy them and plant them and they'll just be colors.

One of them is called Red Lightning and has patterns
so that's cool too

Not sure which one is best, probably since I like they are so varied it would take Many to be best together.


So that's a plant I learned today, cause I told my mum I was looking up red leaf trees and she said they end up looking a bit dark and boring if they're all the same, so she told me these weird pink purple orange green grey leafy things.


ooh, Binoche says it has matt black leaves, very goth garden...

Ooooh,those are very pretty! They are good hummingbird plants, I wonder how they'd do here.

Mom'n'I have a few Heucheras in hanging baskets -- unlike the rest of our hanging-basket plants, they survive the local winters (NorthEast Tenessee). Nothing too fancy, two are red and two are green.
