beccaelizabethJust watched the episode where Mick got the Book of Brigid.
Legends doing its trademark thing of dropping very heavy stuff in the middle of, in this case, giant tentacles vs woman with three boobs.
I think maybe I'll like rewatching better than watching because it is just on the edge of mocking or going too far and I get tense but then it stays, you know, kind.
... Mick the writer, dealing with the stuff in his head via story, is an excellent development, even though it's obviously a writer happy place. Like first he wanted to just burn the book and then he made story and made it about connecting with people.

... it's a very fandom story, obvs.
And I can't really complain about it being more heterosexual than my fav, because everything else in Legends of Tomorrow.
I am liking Charlie a lot, and Mick bonding with her over having been in dark places.
I am not liking the place of booze in these stories. Like, at some point, people could drink less, or it could be treated as not funny. But I know other people calibrate differently on that one.
I am happy watching Mick type and get creative.
