beccaelizabethI continue to not have much to say.
I did bookmark a bunch of stuff on Yuletide, but the first couple I read just made me sad, because feelings are A Lot, so I am not exactly participating on time this year.
I think my new year resolution is going to have to be something pretty basic this year, like get my act together. I am making progress in the right direction, but things got a bit low.
Actually along the same lines as this year deciding to Eat Less Cake, which was a success all year because I was kind of eating every day small cake so any less cake is a win, I shall resolve to Do More of one of the things that went away this year. More is achievable on ecer so many things.
*sigh*
I have been fiddling with Pathfinder rules and making little stories in my head with them. Deck of Many Things plus Ethan Rayne for instance, that makes story. He pulled the Throne twice and becomes much more persuasive, which seems like a Problem. His castle would include a chapel. The door would be a shrine to Janus and inside would be a whole bunch of other gods. Pathfinder gods are not appropriate on Earth though. And Cayden's temples are pubs. Because he's the Lucky Drunk, the god of getting drunk and achieving apotheosis on a dare. So honoring him means putting in a bar abd brewery next to the more church looking temple.
Some churches have a cafe. Cayden has beer.
The little stories are not really taking off.
Today's dream included me phoning Lindsey McDonald, getting cut off, trying to contact him again, and being told he wasn't there any more because he had been a good boy so he was getting out.
Which is an interesting dilemma of interpretation, considering there's reason to believe he ended up in a W&H hell. Do they mean he was pleasing to some Powers, or Good in alignment? Is he going out on assignment or on parole?
But I wasn't worried. Sure you couldnt tell his alignment or what he'd done, but if that was a problem you wouldnt like Lindsey in the first place.
Dream me just had a bunch to say about hope, and things you hadnt dared hope for, and how it was almost scary because you had to take all those feelings out of the box and dare to feel again.
Then I said I'd get myself home, and woke up.
... it's always slightly disconcerting when waking up is appropriate to dream continuity.
I shall go read. Or something.
