LARP dream

Yesterday's dream was a particularly good one, to dream.
I was at a convention I attended every year, the sort with lots of rooms and panels, but also an actor guest. And every year they ran a LARP, with like a safeword for saying Not Playing, and rules that people could not be killed in their sleep etc
There were cards set up in all sorts of places around the hotel, and some of them were treasure and useful things, but some of them were like
STORMTROOPERS
and it being a dream that meant actual stormtroopers turned up on patrol and you had to hide on top of a bookshelf or something, which is a tad more difficult to arrange in actual LARP, especially without upsetting the hotel.
Attending panels meant you were Not Playing, but only from the exact minute the panel started, in the panel room. So getting there was an Adventure.
Then I met the guest just outside the room, and he introduced himself as Mick Rory and got out a toy gun which shot paper streamers. Playing too!
But then everyone else got their LARP weapons out and he was waaaaay outnumbered, so I teamed up with him, and called on Sarenrae to make a shield that burned with the fire of the sun.
... the FX for my stuff was significantly better than paper streamers.
So we were a team, and I picked up a couple more people I knew from other years, and we got to Sunday at high noon, where anyone that wanted to place in the final five had to come to the big showdown. Five of us went in as a team, and pretty soon we were the last five standing.
... but it wasn't quite the last minute yet.
... and I had A Suspicion.
So I asked if they trusted me, and got responses varying from shrugs to entusiastic agreement. And I asked them to deliberately fail their saves.
And cast Sleep on the other four.
... and nobody can get killed in their sleep.
So the sneaky assassin who had also made it to the last couldn't take those four out, and would only make the final five if they got me.
Boss fight!
... I could have Sleeped myself but then all five of my team would place jointly, and in that case joint sixth. I had been in the final five for years, I was going to go for it.
I like this dream because all the fun of clerical magic and long running characters, all the stakes of a scavenger hunt at a convention.
Also if I won I was planning to ask for a mythic level, because I had been a winner so many times in a row, and that seemed like a pretty epic way to win to me.
I had a good reputation from the not backstabbing my team ups ever, and that year I had a new recruit for my deity, because Mick Rory and a goddess of fire seemed like an excellent match, and he wanted that shield spell.
... he'd have to be Chaotic Good or true Neutral to do level in cleric with her, but I think given his recent record of good deeds a case could be made for CG.
... now I'm actually wondering how this could work. And if we could combine it with like drazi wars so you'd larp for team points for Green vs Purple.
Obviously the fx would be less shiny if not asleep.
Fun dream tho.
