Did some things, watched some things

So far in this awake, which started quite late in the evening so it seems weird saying so far today, I have

run the dishwasher
run a load of laundry
dropped a mask on the floor while unloading the laundry so I'll have to do that bit again
run the drying
and

started rewatching Crisis on Infinite Earths, because I got that far in the Supergirl season and stalled.

... I am at the end of hour two and stalled again.

It is not fun watching everything destroyed and replaced again. I dont know why Flash thinks it is fun to watch, but it is not. We care enough about the story to be here, why throw it out and replace all the parts?

It is fun meeting many of Wells because we get an ongoing argument about how much different worlds and different experiences can make different people from the same stuff, and the answer is Very. So people are not swappable and having a whole different past makes them very different people. And they're interesting and fun to visit.

But it is not fun just... throwing all the characters away when they're done with them.

We were not done with them.



So I am quite unreasonably grumpy about it and disinclined to finish watching it tonight.

... but I still can't remember many details from the rest of the hours so I'll still watch it before I keep going with Supergirl, and be annoyed some more.


Boo.




But, progress with basic tasks, is yaay.

then I did more laundry!
... and had not checked how much of it could be tumble dried before I started, so now I have a drying issue... and clean stuff.
